3 cm #0 Diamond Shaped Palette Knife for Kintsugi and/or Paint

$3.00

This small diamond-shaped palette knife works well to apply the different lacquer glues to the edges of shards during the assembly process, especially on smaller items. Also because of its thin yet strong edges, it is a great tool for cleaning up the excess lacquer mixed mediums imeadiately after assembling a piece. It is also the perfect tool if a non-traditional epoxy type repair is being done.

This palette knife is also the perfect tool for mixing small amounts of your artistic mediums. It can be used for mixing oils and acrylics with colorants, or as I use it for mixing Urushi in the art of Kintsugi with the other additives to make the different adhesives for the art. It works great while mixing small quantities of Urushi with wheat, rice, and animal hide glue (nikawa). The steel on this tool is housed in a wooden handle and is of a stiffer variety than a standard palette knife.

A small tool that works for a variety of tasks at a great price!
